We met through mutual friends at a burger joint in 2018, at the start of our first year at CU Boulder. From the moment we saw each other, we were hooked. We bonded over ski trips, great music, and our shared love of food. Though we fell for each other quickly, it took Jake 8 months to finally make a move.

Since then, we’ve been inseparable (as most of you probably know). Over the past six years, we’ve faced challenges like COVID-19, heartbreaking losses, and major life changes, growing stronger and closer together through it all. Along the way, we adopted our amazing dog, Shoko, who has brought endless joy and love into our lives and truly completed our little family.

During a cozy night in on vacation, Jake spontaneously proposed while we were fantasizing about our future together. A few months later, he planned a formal proposal in front of the Walt Disney World castle on our anniversary. Now, we’re excited to start this next chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you by our side!
